As Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Global Knowledge Initiative, Serageldin was invited to a brainstorming meeting of the Arab Knowledge Initiative. The initiative aims to accelerate the development of knowledge and overcome the widening knowledge gap in the Arab World . It builds global knowledge partnerships between individuals and institutions of higher education and research.
