Invited by the Fulbright Commission in Egypt to be the sole keynote speaker at the Commission’s regional conference on science and technology in North Africa and the Middle East, Serageldin will give a presentation on “Promoting Greater Engagement in Science and Technology”. The commission’s invitation to Serageldin comes with high esteem of his tireless role in nourishing and disseminating knowledge in Egypt. The conference will be attended by senior officials from the US Department of State together with representatives from the Fulbright commission and American embassies throughout the region.
As part of a worldwide program, the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt is a commission for educational and cultural exchange between the USA and Egypt. Established in 1949, its aim is to cultivate mutual understanding through educational exchange programs.
