The BA is hosting a meeting experts on Regional Action on Climate Change (RACC) and Future Earth (FE) on 25 and 26 August 2016. The meeting aims to discuss the challenges posed by climate change worldwide, with special focus on its effects on Egypt.
Serageldin will inaugurate the meeting together with a group of elite professors and scientists from Egypt and abroad
This event comes within the context of RACC, a forum affiliated with the Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum. It is also a continuation of the first international RACC workshop to be held outside Japan, which was hosted by the BA from 22 to 24 February 2015.
The RACC and FE meeting will focus on the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction from 2015 to 2030, as well as on overcoming prevalent circumstances in different parts of the world, starting with the MENA region.
