The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Alexandria welcomed Ismail Serageldin who delivered four highly illuminating lectures on Agriculture over a two-day period. The lecture series included presentations on agriculture at the outset of the 21st century, science and food security and irrigation and the environment. Serageldin also presented recommendations for a new international agricultural system. A large number of University students and faculty attended the event.
