A highlight of the TWAS 16th General meeting in Alexandria was a presentation about science in Egypt by Ismail Serageldin. Throughout the presentation titled From Imhotep to Zewail, Serageldin captured the attention of his audience with the journey of science in Egypt from ancient times to the present.
