In response to the repeated requests by the Egyptian mass media community, Serageldin met with various press and media representatives, over two successive days, to speak about and discuss many of todays critical issues. Serageldin updated the press and media gathering on the all activities of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the issue of reform in Egypt and the Arab world, Egypt's economy, scientific research in Egypt, and global water concerns. All those present were very much impressed by Serageldins ability to reach even the toughest press and media opposition groups.
